If ANTHRAX do this Ozzfest reunion.....

I think prime is right the only way to settle this would be to have Bush and Joey do Ozzfest together. Then it will settle who is the better singer is once and for all.

My kid brother here is right. And I never preached belladonna to him even though he knows I was a fan of anthrax way back when Belladonna was the singer. I have my faith in Bush. Bush would kick Belladonna's ass in singing and in a physical confrontation.

Fuck that. Belladonna had his chance a few years ago to redeem himself. Over. He set the precedent.

And I don't know where this rumour came from, but no sense in getting worked up over it until it becomes public.

Scott & Charlie If This is true & you do it. You've reallly gone Beyond Low

Back in 1999, a Bush/Belladonna shared stage tour didn't seem right to me back then and it doesn't seem right to me now either.

I'd give it a shot only because I'm a die hard Anthrax fan. In the year 2005, I really don't think there are any where near as many Belladonna fans as there are Bush fans. And if there were, it would make the last 13 years of your career a waste.

This would be the suckiest suck that ever sucked!

The only thing Anthrax needs now is Frankie Bello back (and a better label)

This reunion would be worse than if they just decided to "call it a day" and hung up the instruments.

I'm hoping its all just a rumor, and it probably is.

bunch of crybabies!!!!!!!!!! where is the info that this is true?? there is nothing confirmed!!! I realy like this oldschool reunion thing!! If they are gonna do it they would strictly play Belladonna albums, Do you really think they let Joey butcher songs like "what doens't die' or "Only "?? give me a break!!! or better give me e beer!!! :)

Of course they wouldn´t...which is even worse. I´d probably hate the thought they´d forget about Bush era at once, which would probably happen. I mean, it´s cool when Dickinson sings Bayley-era song, because he´s just better singer and it´s ok they remember the era, even though it sucked balls.

Even if this is just a bullshit rumour....... All I can say is.........

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE DONT DO IT. It would be SO difficult to see the positive side of this at this stage.

PLEAAAASE!

Okay, we'll compromise, you can have Frank back !!! hehe

c'mon this is a once in a lifetime deal, Trax with Joey!!!
I can't understand why everyone is so upset, we all grew up with Joey!! I would love to see him do a show with Trax!!!
We voted Among best Trax album ever!! now is the time to re-live this shit!!!
Cry for the Indians!!!!!!!!!!!
WARDANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me tell you once again what I mean. I seriously would NOT mind bringing back Joey on tour as a special guest for few songs.
But I sure as hell would mind firing Bush and co., and reunite this eighties dream for ever (well actually for a short time, because this would mean Anthrax´s swan song probably)

Like I said on the other thread - I'm not cool with this unless it's a one off type of gig. Now all the Joey Bashers need to realize Joey kicked in his time and set Anthrax apart from the first growling\cookie cutters of metal.

Sure, I discovered Anthrax with Joey! I LOVED Joey, mourned his departure and still listen to the old records.......... but dude............. let it go. This would be a serious lack of credibility.

First of all, i dislike what Ozzfest now represents, but i do realize the positive outcomes that could happen if Anthrax was on it. However if they do it and it is not the current lineup, i will be extremely upset. I see it as them selling out and turning their backs on the fans that still care about them. The same fans that bought WCFYA,MOMD, and GOTE the day it came out. The same fans that attend the shows. It would just be a slap in the face for the true fans.
100 percent agree. even beyond the last 3 releases, howsabout us that went out and got stomp and 8 the days they were released. i will never forget either day, as both albums were not too easy to find and i made days out of it....great memories.

damn i hope this doesn't happen

They have a lot to lose. After having to sit through a set with Joey Belladonna singing (think of how much his voice sucked ass 12 years ago, and then add 12 years to it), Anthrax will be a fuckin' laughing stock. And they also have my respect to lose. And I've seen them live more times than I've seen any other band. It'd be the ultimate sell-out, and this will be the first Ozzfest I'll be sitting out if indeed it happens.
They already tried it in 1998, and he fucked them over. Time to move on, John Bush kicks his ass in every single way.

Not only that they have recorded many great songs with John along with Joey. By getting rid of John from the band and bringing back Joey they may end up excluding many great songs with John.

Imagine an Anthrax set without some these: Only, Safe Home, What Doesn't Die, Inside Out, Room For One More, Fueled etc - basically nothing since 1990. Bad, bad, bad.

It would be a cool idea in the back of my head to see Belladonna back with Anthrax, but thats where that idea stays.... in the back of my head. I saw the band with John, and they fucking DESTROY.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't do it guys (IF ITS TRUE, which I don't think it is)
