Huh, after listening to the whole album, all I can say is... OMG!

I mean, I usually listen to traditional metal ( to avoid the cheesy term "tr00 metal head" ) bands, such as Slipknot, Marylin Manson, and Avril Lavrigne, and I don't know why do you find this album commercial or something.

Now seriously, I've listen to the whole album and I don't find this shit commercial at all. I don't hear the nu-metal stuff, maybe there just like 2 parts during all the album that could sound like "nu", but those are in the line of that really heavy parts that we could hear in HCDR. ( more Bodom than nu I would think, and if you think that CoB already sold out with HCDR then... ) There is even a song, where you can hear some Something Wild elements, and you can also notice some kind of eighties reminiscence in that same song, but kind of modernized with bodom-style.

This is a new and fresh album, lots of catchy choruses, lots of melodies, lots of heavy parts, lots of *fucks* I mean, this is not simple, this is not even commercial!

This is surely better than another HB or FTR ( great albums both, being FTR my favourite ). Just look to Stratovarius, and how stuck they got ( although I've heard they've managed to do something new in their last album ).

To all tr00 metalheads, open your minds and give a listen to this album. You may ejaculate!

Yeah, I agree. This album fuckin rocks. Very good music, solo's are great, (stfu, all you "professional guitarists" here, go and play this shit, or make better stuff ands stop whining) some are better than others, melodies are cool and whole album has a fresh feeling in songs.

This is all a matter of taste of course, but I dont see anything good about AYDY. None of the elements that made bodom good are in it. It's like metallica: if you like alt rock pseudo metal, then I'm sure you'll like load or reload more than kill em all. They're two completely different things though.

I have to totally agree with you. I wont say that AYDY? sucks, because it doesn't, but I don't like it. As you said, all of the elements that made Bodom so fantastic (for me and many others) are now gone. That's really sad but we can't do much about it. At least I don't think that whineing on the internet will make Alexi change his mind and go back to writing music like he did before.

I like it but not as much as Follow The Reaper. But I like it as equally as the other albums. Maybe Hatebreeder is up there with FTR but the others I love equally. I don't actually worship SW, but its my least listened to of their albums, so maybe thats why. All great albums though in my opinion, but the newer ones are easier to get others to listen to because of the production, then move them onto the older stuff.
