Are you looking forward to a concert?

I saw Satyricon yesterday, and I kind of liked it!! Ya,
I'm shocked! hehe... Though they had some really
fucked up sound problems it was a good show, with
pyro-works, a naked woman hangin up-side down on
a cross and that comes a long with a black-metal
show!
EY!!
they did not have any naked women on stage when they played here!
thats rude! hehe

and for gigs im looking forward to: In Flames, Soilwork and Pain :)
to bad Ill probably wont be able to get there... :\
a whole gang i know are going, but theyre car is alredy full... and i cant afford both the trip by plane/or train and the stay in oslo
grrrr ... :\

Menhir and Odroerir were great last night  Awesome show on stage, even tho the sound was lacking something... they usually play better (@ Gaunerin, who made her mind up and was there, too :D Cheerz!) and nice chill out in the keep's bar afterwards with all the people.

The warm mead made the whole enterprise really comfortable, and we've had quite some quantity of it ;) And nice people all around, many Viking reenactors (so I didn't feel misplaced at all with my outfit either :D )

The place was also quite nice! Apart from the damn fog all night - had to search half an hour to finally find the car again... and the sleeping bags and stuff. And since we were MUCH too drunken to build up the tent (apart from the fact that it'd have been impossible in this darkness anyway...) we just slept on stage (one friend of us already fell asleep right away after the gig, sitting on some bench, we just hauled him on stage and let him sleep on ;) ) next to Heiko Gerull (Menhir) and his wife *cough* Great night, just took damn long to get there and back...

Gaunerin, you should have stayed as well the night hehe, was pretty much fun! Apart from the small differences that occured during Menhir's gig... it's just that my brother might have a short temper in some cases... but no harm done, they stayed friendly :D Just hope someone took some pics after all - my brother brought a camera along, but aside from 4 or 5 shots in the beginning I do not remember hi taking pics...

Yesterday evening I was on the Blind Guardian show here in Budapest. They were awesome. I'm not a power metal fan, well, im not an xy metal fan either, just someone who likes METAL MUSIC in general, or rather, some metal bands, hehe! So I like BG's last albums, and the show was very down-to-earth, with good sound, good atmosphere, and of course the best BG songs. I donk know how many of you's like BG, but this was one of the best gigs I've ever been (which doesnt say that much :) )
Im looking forward to seeing DarkTranquillity, and of course DarkThrone playing in my living room :D :D :D

@ Ziu: hehehe....reading your report I see ppl falling down :D
But I also cannot remember that your brother took any pics during the show - and I was sober, so I should remember ;)
Too bad....you could have posted some of them in the pic thread.

Sounds great..

Hopefully they will live up to my big expectations, when I go to the koncert (Satyricon/khold) the 23. October in Aarhus.

Ey! Have a great time!) Rock hard and all that! hehe...

Do you like Khold's albums? I have only heard their last
one, and I like it, but live they are kind of boring? I dunno,
but it's just.... There's something missing, maybe the
music is too monotone? But still, they did a great show )

I just recently saw Entombed and Satyricon + Khold in concert.
For the rest of the year I have these concerts lined up:

Nov 2: In Flames + Soilwork + Pain
Nov 28: Merciless + Amon Amarth
Nov 29: Dismember + Thyrfing + 2 bands TBA
Dec 5: Dark Tranquillity + Sinergy + Griffin + 1 band TBA (I'm on the guest list thanks to having befriended the band to a small degree)

Oh, and I'd love to travel to Sweden to see Thyrfing
the 29th, it would be a late birthday prezzie for me >)

As it happens, that gig IS on my birthday ;)

Thanks.
As I wrote in the very first post of this thread (or was
it the second?) - I don't know much about Khold.
I have downloaded a couple of their song from their
homepage, and I am not that impressed.
Satyricon's new Volcano album doesn't appeal much to
me either, I sure hope they will play some of the good
old songs too.

Yeah, Satyricon will play a lot of old stuff, at least they
did that in Oslo. Those were the songs I enjoyed the
most...)

And Phyros: I found this setlist online, it's from
Satyricon's gig in Skien (Norway), it's probably almost
the same everywhere )

The Night Of The Triumphator
Angstridden
Nemesis Divina
Mental Mercury
Fuel For Hatred
Blessed From below
Orgasmatron
Repined Bastard Nation
Supersonic Journey
Dominions Of Satyricon
---
Hvite Krists Død
Mother North

Haha, I see him, too! And his n/a message reads "Satyricon". He's probably downloading something BIIIIG.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the show, Phyros!
