Am I missing something here, its blank.. Did you mean to post a link or something regarding Corey Taylor being named as the possible Anthrax front man as mentioned on Billy's board?

Hmm, yeah. I would've preferred Whit Crane as there were rumours about him too but I'll give this a fair shot. What's really good is that Bush didn't come back; that would've been another step backwards for Anthrax and besides, now he can completely concentrate on Armored Saint (new album, please?).

They'll catch a lot of flak because of this. I doubt they'll start caring about that now since it's been the trend for the last 15 years to bash Anthrax...

tsori wtf u on about ??? ur glad that bush didn't come back?????? are u fuckin nut's ???? . bush was best singer they had ( and ever will have ) what drugs did you smoke today ??:Smug:  :p anthrax now up to 4th singer and imo they r fucked . nuff said

Well, we probably will be seeing Anthrax on MTV than. I guess they will loose some old-time fans for this and probably will gain double as much nu-kids as fans...Need to hear the album first but I have no hope at all that it will be interesting, NO hope at all...

BTW Metallord69...Neil Turbin was the best singer Anthrax had, period !! ;)

I agree! But keeping in mind the way he was thrown out of the band, his return would've created a pretty awkward situation even by Anthrax standards. No way they could've continued like nothing happened and I can't see any good music coming out from such a scenario. Getting a completely new frontman is pretty much the only way they can dig themselves out of this post-reunion mess and move on. John proved himself worthy in 1993 so why not give the new guy a fair chance too?

Bush is NEVER Coming back...

Ex-ANTHRAX Singer JOHN BUSH Feels No Bitterness Towards His Former Bandmates - June 6, 2007

ARMORED SAINT/ex-ANTHRAX singer John Bush was asked by Rock Hard magazine at last month's Rock Hard Festival (which was held May 25-27 in Gelsenkirchen, Germany) if he harbored any bitterness towards his former ANTHRAX bandmates over the way he was dismissed from the group in 2005 in order to make room for a reunion with the band's previous vocalist Joey Belladonna.

"No. Bitter is not the way I wanna be about anything," Bush replied. "I'm not bitter at all. There was probably not a perfect way to do that, what they did. It was like, how are they gonna say…? I mean, they asked me to do it — the tour with Joey [Bush was asked to take part in a '25th anniversary' tour that would see him and Belladonna splitting vocal duties — Ed] — and it just wasn't right for me, I couldn't do it. So, whatever… If they felt they had to do that, I understand. It wasn't like I was going, 'Yeah, do it. That's great.' But once it happened, I was like, 'OK.' It was like a book ended. It's OK. I mean, it's much better to look at it that way than to be angry or frustrated, 'cause I really don't feel that way." Asked if he was approached to rejoin the band once Belladonna left the group, Bush said, "I was asked to write [with the members of ANTHRAX] and it just wasn't right for me. I couldn't go back and say, 'Here I am...' It would be like coming in with my tail between my legs, and that's not right for me. I just couldn't do that. It just didn't feel right to do that. It was about soul, your gut. How does that feel? Does it feel right? Good enough. Sold. Answer."

Bush belongs in Armored Saint period, Belladona was the best Anthrax ever had and they failed to keep him, best they can do is close business or beg Billy to reform S.O.D.

taylor is just helping them right now. not an official member as of 6/9/07 but that could change

Scott Ian isn't nuzzling Taylor's taint for no reason. Of course he has something to gain. Seems like much like Mustiane back in the day, Ian set on being "successful." He should be very satisfied with what he has... He's not. He'll never catch Metallica no matter what he does. This asshole mentions Dimebag any chance he gets, he name drops all the fucking time...
All I want to know is does Charlie get sloppy seconds?!

Sure, Scott & Charlie have done a lot of backstabbing in recent years but what exactly warrants these kinda insults in this particular situation? Trying out a new lead singer equals to being an asshole? Why don't you drop the hostility or if you don't even care about the band just move on...

Why are you so uptight?! Do you want undivided attention?!

God, these guys REALLY want to be on MTV again, don't they? Corey Taylor joining them would be like Jonathan Davis of Korn joining Slayer. Or Jani Lane joining Anthrax back in the day. Just not right. If Corey Taylor aqctually DOES become the new Anthrax singer, i won't be wearing my Thrax t-shirts for a long time.

If I wanted that, I'd type everything in supersized orange text.

Why must everything that Anthrax does be welcomed with this kinda mentality? Again, all they're doing right now is trying out for a new lead singer and get called dishonest scheming assholes for that. What's the big crime in that? Was Jon Schaffer "set on being successful" and an "asshole" when he hired Ripper Owens for Iced Earth? Or was he just trying to keep the band going? Thought so.
