So is the issue here bedroom musicians in general or simply bedroom black metal? Personally, I applaud the DIY approach to music-making, but some quality control should be exercised before actually releasing and promoting your efforts to the public... like someone pointed out earlier, while it's a lot easier to make music on your own now, making good music is still as hard as it's ever been.

I love noise. Most people here know that. Does it have really any musical integrity? No, not that I can see. It's structureless, rhythmless (mostly) "sound." But does that mean everyone thinks it's awful? No, therefore it cannot be "bad". You can think it's bad, but you'd be wrong in everyone who likes its' eyes. Do you see what I'm saying?

There's a difference between noise and bedroom black metal. Noise is better.

So I guess even random sound is better than poor attempts at organized sound. What a thought!

I'm totally for the whole "subjectivity" thing, though.
