Beer

I tried it based on the reputation of DFH, and the "hop" part, but I should have known. Fruity beers are generally suck, although their Raisin D'etre is not bad. But raisin is a flavor that just seems like it could be ok in a beer.

DFH is a good company, but to me they seem a bit overrated.

Stone.

Now there's a killer brewery.

^Nice avatar, speaking of which. The Bastard is a favorite of mine.

Apricot is a pleasant flavor in tripels and strong ales. Raisin is common in doppelbocks and strong dark ales. I can't think of any fruit that I couldn't see working in beer. Tomato is not a fruit.

We don't get Stone in IL. Sucks.

Arrogant Bastard is strong, bitter, hoppy and good! Not as purely hoppy as some IPAs, but just as bitter. 7.2% abv.

Some of my other favorites from Stone brewery are:

Old Guadian barlywine style ale
IPA
Ruination double IPA
Double Bastard

Seriously, while you fuckers are spending 9 dollars on a huge bottle of Arrogant Bastard, I'm unloading that money on some fucking quality music.

I'm going to go grab myself another Natural Light

The Bastard is only from $3-$4 for a bomber (22oz).

For me, my goal is not to get drunk, so I typically only have one bomber or from 1-4 (usually 2) stronger (~6%-10% abv) beers at a time. Since I don't drink large quantities and I really like the more expensive beer, it works out fine. Plus I am old and have a good job.
