well I survived. I had 9 tasters out of a possible 15. One of my friends got through 15 but was regretting it later. This is what I had in order:
Lost Abbey Duck Duck Guava (first release anywhere)
The Bruery Coton
The Bruery/Cigar City Brewing Marron Acidifie
FiftyFifty Eclipse Imperial Stout 2010 Evan Williams Single Barrel (which cost me two tickets)
Trois Dames Grand Dame Oud Bruin 2010
Avery Quinquepartite 2010
Avery Dihos Dactylion in Cab Sauv Barrels
Firestone Walker Parabola Imperial Stout
Sierra Nevada Wood Aged Old Ale
of the ones I had, the only ones I wasn't wild about were the Avery Quinquepartite and the Sierra Nevada Wood Aged Old Ale. Everything else was outstanding. Place was packed (the event sold out). Luckily my friends and I grabbed a table, but it was in the sun. It got pretty warm, so I was glad I was wearing a t shirt and shorts.
Good beers and good times. My friends tried BrewDog Tokyo (18%) and believe that was the biggest contributor to their inebriated states haha. My buddy drove home, and I knocked the fuck out. Felt relatively fine afterwards other than a slight headache. My one friend who got through all 15 texted me later saying he felt like absolute shit. 45 ounces of 10%+ beers (on average) will do that
Duck Duck Guava
FiftyFifty Eclipse
Trois Dames
