Best album from each of these thrash bands??

okay, just got Sabbat - History of a Time To Come :kickass:

Now I'll have my thrash for the entire summer. lol That Heathen is hard to come by but Iihave it on mp3 anyways.

If ya'll want some Power mixed in with your Thrash, be sure to check out Deadly Blessing. Excellent.

OK.

You had this on MP3s already, right?

You do have Beneath the Remains already, right?

1) Yes, I did...had it on tape like 10 yrs ago in junior high but lost it my freshman year. I've had Beneath The Remains on CD since early high school.

I've had Beneath the Remains since before CD's existed. Still got my battered old tape laying about somewhere...

I had no idea who Sepultura was in the 80's man. lol I was too busy listening to Maiden, Metallica, Skid Row.........

...Poison, GnR, Cinderella, White Lion, Aerosmith, Warrant,

Skid Row - s/t and Slave to the Grind
GnR - Appetite
Cinderella - Long Cold Winter
Aerosmith - Pump

All those 80's releases are respectable enough. :D

Among my very first cd purchases (at the time when the format was being launched):

Darkness Descends
Live After Death--sucked so bad, fucker was incomplete because it was condensed to one disc.

Pump? Jebus, I could have let you slide with Permanent Vacation. And Cinderella's debut was decent but the others were awful. I remember loving how much the dude sounded like Brian Johnson--I was obsessed w/ AC/DC back then. Still love the Bon era.

Lurch, did you ever purchase that Andralls CD? So motherfuckin' GOOD!!!!!!!!! :kickass:

Edit: JK, you too vunt!!

never got it ... it's a South American band no? I do remember you uploading some samples some time ago and it was good

I remember that fiasco ... both the tape and the eventual Cd did not contain the complete double LP materials ...
That LP packaging was revolutionary for the time ... still remember that extensive full size booklet it came with

Yeah, what a mess. I already had the vinyl version, and then picked up the cd. Lame!
I remember when MTV showed the concert film from that tour. They used to broadcast those on Sat nights--remember?

And yeah, that Andralls album is damn good. I'd like to hear some of their other stuff.
