Only three 2008 albums I've heard that I liked. They're all amazing. DM was the best of the three and Nostradamus was the weakest, IMO.

The only other album from this year I heard all the way through was the new Death Angel album. I thought it was inconsistent. The best songs were amazing. The worst songs were God-awful.

Naw, dude, naw. Death Magnetic is easily their best album since their first four. It's not cumtastically amazing, but it's solid at least and I think it's pretty damn good.
