And grow up, too. That isn't what this forum is here for, and if you can't learn to watch your mouth then find somewhere else to throw abuse at people. Jeez....

Blackwater Park ... it was Still Life for the longest time for me.

I would have thought Orchid would get more votes than Morningrise... I have always viewed it as a better album out of the two.
Yeah, Orchid is much better than Morningrise imo. But as for my favourite, definately My Arms, Your Hearse. Opeth's masterpiece. They'll never make another album as amazing as that.

^i could agree with you, i think the problem with damnation is that the production is TOO CLEAN for my taste, sometimes the snare drum sound makes my ears bleed...

Well, best is favorite isnt it?
I really do not think this poll is taking the best...it is more towards favorite. I think there is a very distinct difference between the two.

One's favorite is a personal meaning, but the best is showing the band's greatest achievements. Now, sometimes they turn out to be the same, but not always.

I personally think Ghost Reveries is the band's best album, but it is not my favorite. Ghost Reveries shows where the band has been trying to get to all these years, there most solid effort, in my opinion. While I do not get as much from it as I do My Arms, Your Hearse or Still Life, I can totally see the band improving itself, getting the sounds they wanted, having each song be what it was supposed to be (even if I disagree with a few things, I know the band is happy with it).

So yeah, I voted Ghost Reveries for that reason.

^seconded. I was too lazy to say that in my post.

I am pleasantly surprised to see Morningrise in second, but I also think people are just voting favorite....like me lol.
