Generic is a compliment. Try "typical talentless hardcore kids that cant write music and resort to copying other bands, that by accident found an inflames cd and decided "yes we will play this!"

i happened to hear some songs out of one of their records, so i could only come up with "generic", as in generically uninteresting. i remember making the mental association with in flames, though.
