Someone posted a thread like this on another board, the best ones I can think of at the moment...

Reign In Blood, South Of Heaven, Seasons In The Abyss by Slayer

Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, And Justice For All... by Metallica

Night Of The Stormrider, Burnt Offerings, Dark Saga by Iced Earth

Slippery When Wet, New Jersey, Keep The Faith by Bon Jovi

At The Heart Of Winter, Damned In Black, Sons Of Northern Darkness by Immortal

Spiritual Black Dimensions, Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia, Death Cult Armageddon by Dimmu Borgir

MEGADETH
Peace Sells
So Far, So Good, So What
Rust In Peace

(And KIMB/CtE to make a perfect 5)
RiP is easily a top 10 metal record, PS is a favourite of many and I personally find SFSGSW almost on par with RiP.

Iron Maiden

Iron Maiden
Killers
Number of the Beast

Killers
Number of the Beast
Piece of Mind

Number of the Beast
Piece of Mind
Powerslave

etc

The best consecutive string of albums I can think of at the moment is:

HIGH N DRY - PYROMANIA - HYSTERIA - ADRENALIZE! (I know thats 4 not 3 haha but even better!)

Other great ones:

Slippery When Wet - New Jersey - Keep The Faith

The Number Of The Beast - Piece Of Mind - Powerslave

Raise Your Fist & Yell - Trash - Hey Stoopid

Electrified - Sonic Dynamite - Endangered (and from what I've heard, add Thunderdome as #4 here!)

Out Of The Cellar - Invasion Of Your Privacy - Dancing Undercover - Reach For The Sky - Detonator

Ratt were as consistent as you could get. The only let down in that entire first 5 albums is a bit of filler in the 2nd half of Reach For The Sky.

Serious? First time in aaaaages anyway.

I'm just a huge fan of those 3 albums really. They ARE Maiden to me. Everything else is good songs here and there but not overly enthused by any of the other albums as a whole. Those 3 though just kill, awesome. Piece Of Mind is the best..

Pinkfloyd- The 14 best consecutive albums.

The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn
A Saucerful of Secrets
More
Ummagumma
Atom Heart Mother
Meddle
Obscured by Clouds
The Dark Side of the Moon
Wish you were here
Animals
The Wall
The Final Cut
A Momentary Lapse of Reason
Delicate Sound of Thunder

apart from Metallica...

I'd have to say this is definite:

Led Zeppelin - III
Led Zeppelin - IV
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy

orrrr

Led Zeppelin - IV
Led Zeppelin - Houses of the Holy
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti

Hey Sydo, I got 12:5 yesterday. It sounds awesome huh? How good are the fricken vocals?! It confirms my belief that Daniel Gildenlow is a first class musician/composer/singer. He is a god. The songs from Entropia sound great, especially Leaving Entropia and Oblivion Ocean. I didnt even recognise OO first time.
