would it be like a "post ur 5 top death/thrash metal albums of all time" thing or what, not this decade or whatever?

it would get a little weird because the first guy would be like "well, altars of madness, left hand path, scream bloody gore..." and then the 10th guy to enter the tournament would have to root around the bottom of barrel for like the second CREMATORY (GER) album or some shit

or maybe you don't have to have unique nominations, maybe just like "post your 10 favs, first gets 10 points, second gets 9 points, etc" and the top 16 or 32 with the most points get to be in the tournament??

dunno. that would have to be determined i guess. certain decades might have to do because, like you said, i dont want or need to hear master of puppets, beneath the remains, and rust in peace.

to dodge the thing with someone having to pick 5th tier shit, maybe do rounds where each person picks 1 album before picking a 2nd.
