Breaking Bad

When it cut to commercial, the wife and I both looked at each other in stunned silence, the woman's laugh still lingering in the air.

How much did Jesse end up paying to store his RV? I didn't quite catch the figure.
Did anyone think Jesse was going to buy that Range Rover in the background? When he rolled out in the Corolla wagon, I about fell out of my chair.

500 a week inside a garage on the property, with "gate privileges". He gave him 2k for the month I think.

The best part of any episode was when they "melted" that guy in Jesse's house.

hhahahahaha that house was awesome
I hope Jesse gets it back somehow. The house *is* Season 1.

Watched episode 210 last night on On Demand. It might be the best episode yet. Brian Cranston is operating on a whole 'nother level. The part at the end where he's at the hardware store, with the amateur meth-maker and then he sets his cans of paint down to go out to the parking lot wow I was laughing my ass off and thinking "oh shit! what's about to do down?!" at the same time.

The flash forwards are starting to creep me out. The wife has a theory the bodies are those of Jesse and his gf

While this episode went nowhere from a storyline standpoint, it progressed by leaps and bounds in mood. Brian Cranston may be the best actor going today. If Christopher Nolan ever plans on bringing in Riddler or Mr. Freeze in to the Batman series, he need look no further on who to cast.

Hm, it appears I'm gonna have to start watching this show sometime

I've never seen it on! Maybe because I never watch AMC because it isn't the Food Network

I can't believe people on this forum liked Malcom in the Middle, that has to be one of THE most annoying shows in the world

I thought the same thing until I actually sat down and watched a full episode or two. The earlier episodes where the older brother is in military school is when it was it's peak. I wasn't buying Malcolm as a high school Casanova. (Even though he probably had all of 3 dates for the entire series.)

I lived with 4 women who loved it and watched it religiously every fucking week. A number of times I watched it with them. I probably laughed a grand total of 1/18th of the number of times I cringed in utter disgust.

Am I the only person who is now wishing that Skylar gets killed? She is really starting to annoy me. Or maybe she can die in labor. That'd be ok too.

Either way, I hope Walt makes the shipment.

Also, I'm guessing Jesse's new drug-ho is going to end up overdosing in his house at somepoint? She's quite the fiend, haha.

Watched last week's episode last night. While on vacation I happened to randomly see the previews for this coming Sunday's show and I was rather irritated. I had concluded that Jesse's gf was behind a plot to blackmail him and Walt but after watching the previews a little closer last night, looks like Walt makes the drop and then bilks Jesse out of his share because he's such a waste. Then it looks like the gf gets involved on Jesse's behalf. Or something. My only hope is she *does* OD.

I like Skylar. She's an awesome character. Almost surreal.

At this point, the only person I can't stand is Jesse. But where would the story go without an antagonist like him?

I'm still thinking my wife is right about the bodies in front of Walt's house shown during the flash forwards - they're going to be Jesse and the gf.

Super spoilers AHOY, close this page now if you don't wanna see them:

FUCK! I was so close. Her choking on her own vomit was better off though... she was a bitch.

SPOILER ALERT

Yeah, nice call EricT! I guess that does it for the wife's prediction of who the bodies in the flash-forward belong to.
Last night's episode was just...WOW.

Did anyone notice the pink stuffed rabbit at the truck stop where Walt made the delivery?

Missed the first 10 min, so need to download it to watch the drop off.

Surprising that Walt watched her die and did nothing, even considering what she did. He's pushing the boundries of depravity slowly, if his reasoning was to save Jesse. Something explosive must happen with that girl's father next episode.

This shows so damn great :kickass:

Next week should be pretty good... season finale and all. They gotta bring the big guns.

Thankfully, we can rest easy if it's a cliffhanger knowing they've been signed for a 3rd season.

My thoughts on that situation are that Walt didnt do anything because he was smart enough to realize he *couldnt* do anything. Unless you have a suction kit on hand, you're dead if you vomit and aspirate while unconscious. It was too late to turn her on her side in the "recovery position" and that probably wouldnt have helped much anyway. That's what I got from Mr. Cranston anyway. I can definitely see it the other way - that Walt *let* her die. Either way, AWESOME ending

Amazing ending. It killed my mid episode theory that the vunt was going to feign rehab, let Jesse go off to get clean, and make a break with the dough. It's hard to even imagine that this is the same show we were watching last season. All the humor is gone, with Walt switching gears from a loving family man wanting to provide, to a hardened spirit who holds little regret in his deeds.

It kinda worries me, actually. Without some sort of tragedy for Walt, how can they progress the character much more? They used the end of this episode to give that tragic boost to progress the character of Jesse, and with a season 3 confirmed, something has to happen that changes Walt.

I am still clinging onto my theory of Skylar and Walt Jr. being killed (probably by the mexican cartels, considering how unhappy they must be about several pounds of the blue stuff moving all over the place now) for this progression.
