Christian Metal

It is common amongst all Religeous and people with belief that they never seem to hear what is said back to them.......they always appear to be on project outwards and will "chip away" at you till the ends of time about the pros of their belief.......whatever you say to bleary eyed spiritual folk in return does not seem to register with them, Why is this one wonders? because they know if they just keep you talking they will find little chinks in your armour where they can get underneath, find out your weakness and then begin to try and convert you into thinking their way. All Religeous people do this...it seems a little devious to me! But hey its a free world init  www.Agankast.com

ohiogrinder is the biggest spastic on the forum; quite an achievement.

I believe conversion will lead me to a better standard of life...its not really about believing in Odin, but more about moral codes set forth by Aryan peoples.
OK that is fine. Thank you. Although honestly I think it is a rather foolish reason to join a religion.

thats what I'm trying to do!

All youve done so far is saying that you're converting to Odinism because you're not going to be an Atheist, or a Muslim, or a Buddhist, or a Hindu, or even a Satanist because those belief systems don't make sense to you. And that Odinism makes you less self centered and all that, even though you admit you don't know much about the religion yet. There is absolutely no logic involved here.

I don't see what's so hard about being a moral person without submitting to a given set of principles. I've been doing it for many years. Odin is about as real as any other god, so why follow his teachings? Why not just, I don't know, be moral? Although many, if not most would disagree, I hold that morality is not tied to religion exclusively.

Yeah, it's fine if that's what he wants to do. He just hasn't explained WHY.

Well then that is fine. It's his own choice, and if you ask me, it's a lot cooler than any other religion.

If he believes in Odin he needs to be hit in the head with something hard like a fist or a crowbar. But I think he already said he didn't believe in the Norse gods, just "follows their morals".
