Been listening some black ambient and ambient stuff such as Aphex Twin, The Balance Factor, Blood and War and Aghast. I do like all that stuff but sometimes it makes you want to rip your ears off.

The only form of vocals i dislike in metal is burping.

Other than that everything is great as long as it suits the music and is performed well.

However i can't say the same for other genres.

Hey, you're not in the minority. But I personally love it when Trad/80's Metal vocals are mixed with some Thrash, I can't get enough of the contrast.
