TRUE METAL COMPILATION VOL. 1

This one is an assortment of various "True" Metal, namely Heavy/Power/Speed/Thrash Metal with balls. Some of it leans more toward the melodic side, particularly on the vocals, like Fates Warning, Riot, and Deadly Blessing, and others, like October 31 Omen, lean the other way. I think you'll understand the "True" label in this sense once you're done listening to these tracks:

Finally it worked after I downloaded it again. Gotta say the opening track, "Foregone Ways" is pretty fucking great. Not so sure about the vocals, but the guitars are excellent I like this.

Extreme Thrash Metal Compilation

By "Extreme" I mean simply that it does not lean toward the more melodic end of the Thrash spectrum, like Forbidden or Artillery. The material on this compilation ranges from mid-80s proto Black Metal such, as Poison and Imperator, to more recent incarnations, like Hammerwhore and Farscape, who generally revisit styles previously introduced by bands like Sacrifice and Nuclear Assault and expanding upon them. There is also a sampling of the violent tendencies found in the South American scene from Holocausto, MX, Mutilator, and Expulser.
