Controversial opinions on metal

Dragonlord - Rapture is some pretty not-terrible black metal. Some parts are pretty tacky/cheesy/not-good, but there are some seriously awesome moments on there.

I think this is pretty decent.
Not great, but the album came on earlier and I realized my initial appraisal (what is this goofy shit) might have been too harsh.

Stormlord is a symphonic black/death metal band and they kick ass, much more than this band. although it wasn't terrible and i liked the vocals

I don't think that's very controversial. For some reason I have a strange affection for that album, but I recognize that for most people it's gonna be lacking in flow and songwriting and his clean vocals are quite awful.
