ummm... those are all good songs man. my point was that people were saying that there are only like 2-3 good songs on the early slayer albums. that's BS. I would say most of the songs on the early slayer albums are great, sans a couple. I could name more songs, less popular ones if you prefer.

The first five Slayer albums generally avoid bad songs, but that doesn't mean there isn't filler. An album can't be one third mediocre and still an excellent album.

Thrash on its own is incredibly boring unless done well, but you can't say its the worst subgenre especially when mixed with other genres.

Ignoring the pioneers, I generally agree with this. There's some really good low-tier power/thrash, death/thrash, etc in the genre but straight-up thrash is so flavorless. There's a reason why the Gothic Slams and Faith or Fears lack the cult status of, say, Morbid Saint or Deadly Blessing. It's also why Anthrax and Sacred Reich sound so dated now.
