Yes they did and a lot of websites/individuals have it on their year end lists, top 10 or top 20. I have it but haven't istened to it yet.

I don't know how controversial this is, but with the exception of compliations of EPs and demos, artists and lebels shouldn't add "bonus tracks" to reissuss. It only waters down the album and ruins the album's flow and arc. I'm struggling to think of a single exception.

It annoys me as well in most cases. I usually turn it off after the main material. At the end of the day, it's extra stuff for free so can't really complain too much. I do prefer it when they put the bonus stuff on a separate disc, though.

I don't mind if the bonus material is actually good and otherwise only available on a 7" or something. Bad quality demo tracks and live tracks are the worst.

A couple of good examples are the reissues of Aeternus - Dark Sorcery and Eucharist - A Velvet Creation.

Still, I mostly hate bonus tracks.

Edit: also regarding bonus tracks, The Crypt usually does a superb job with his added material but even at that I tend to skip back to the beginning of the album or not even rip the bonus tracks from the CDs for listening on my MP3 player.

The only thing that gets me slightly irritated is that lots of those people who are not even interested in Motorhead share an Ace of Spades video and say RIP. I don't like the fact that Lemmy is often remembered for writing one song..
