Controversial opinions on metal

SMRC is obvs bloated but also, at its best, quite substantial, deeply felt shit. better than rilo kiley imo

I prefer Fas and Paracletus (and the eps) because my attention span isn't strong enough for SMRC.

On an unrelated note, I'd like to sell my DsO vinyl picture disc box set. It looks gorgeous but it's a lot to deal with.

Obviously that Carly Rae song above contains all the substance and emotional depth that songs such as "Sola Fide I" and "Carnal Malefactor" are so clearly missing.
Nietzschean and existentialist philosophy, coupled with laser sharp guitar, drums, etc., versus intellectually depthless invocations of "happiness" to hawk the goods of a supermarket to the tune of beta male pseudo funk? Hmmmmm... tough one...

Ironic that he enjoys such blatant shilling for a large corporation. However, I hope you're not using "beta male" unironically.

speaking as one of this board's pop sympathisers, that song is pretty weak.

It's a lot more redeemable than every other CRJ song Mort has ever posted. Then again, that's probably because it's not even her song originally.

I'm using it to describe how emasculated it is, particularly compared to actual funk.
