except it sounds nothing like what Darkthrone are known for which is raw, simple black metal metal. If you want to get into Darkthrone start with one of the classic black metal albums.

it took me a long time to warm up to UAFM and ABITNS... TH clicked from the very first second. Very few albums are like that for me.

that's how i felt for a long time... then i watched a video with Nokturno Culto playing that song live and i was like OMG that's so badass... the album just clicked after that

The best starting point is probably UAFM or TH. I couldn't get into Soulside, ABITNS or FOAD at all
