When it comes to anything Southern/Bluesy, Acid Bath is where it's at for me.

Down isn't for everyone, though that can be said for every single band in existence. I personally don't like southern rock, or anything extremely blues based for that matter. That's probably why I love black metal and death metal so much.

NOLA is a great album. Down 2 is alright, though the heavy Zeppelin influence turns me right off. Down 3 is...well, the more charitable parts of my brain say "sporadic", whether as the normally caustic parts of my psyche scream "shite".
