I am by no means a LoG or metalcore fan but the new songs from Wrath on their myspace sounds pretty badass... especially Set to Fail.

A. Chevelle is not metal.
B. You couldn't find a more embarrassing band that I like, seriously? I feed you guys this shit, and you can't even deliver when you have the chance.
C. Killswitch might be tolerable from time to time, but "the epitome of excellence" is taking that a bit far.

I've never liked a single thing Katatonia ever did, I prefer Paradise Lost. The only good thing about Katatonia is that the singer has a nice name.

I wouldn't say I like everything (since Burn the Priest is pretty aweful) but they have definitely been getting better and better. I don't see why they are so disliked unless it is the lack of kvltness.
Been listening to Wrath today, pretty solid album, it lacks a killer track like Walk with Me in Hell and Redneck, but over all it is better than Sacrament.
Well, I haven't heard Burn The Priest, but I've heard everything they've put out under the name of Lamb of God.
And IMO, Reclamation is the "killer track" on Wrath. Fuck, that shit was just amazing.
All in all, Wrath's a solid album though... they're trying something different here; and while not as good as Sacrament, it's a great album regardless.
I kinda enjoy some of their dodgy stuff like Say Just Words but yeah, overall they kinda suck compared to Katatonia.
Well, tbh, it was an idiotic point. It's like saying you can't like Iron Maiden if you don't like Genesis. And also, I question that Bathory were heavily influenced by Zeppelin. Tbh usually people accuse Hammerheart of ripping off Manowar.
The music wasn't relevant to that point so...

Music: what you get when you put all the instruments together. You can have tedious music with great drumming.
My problem isn't that he sings high, my problem is his colossally annoying voice. So, no, actually, I have no problem enjoying Priest, Maiden, and most power metal.
Is that the one where Plant moans until I hit the skip button? I think I might have let that play out once because I wasn't paying attention, but I honestly can't recall the bassline.
Okay, that's great. Of course, considering Zep's reputation as being innovative, I consider this significant. However, if you'd read the whole post you would have noticed the part where I took back "hacks."
Actually, I meant I can't really listen to his voice for more than three minutes. I've made multiple attempts to get into them, and have about 8 hours of their stuff on my comp my friend lent me, maybe half of which I've listened to.vihris-gari said:
