Morbid Angel might be my favorite death metal band of all time. The first two albums in particular but its only "heretic" I find myself not wanting to listen to.

Akercocke sucks.

At their most progressive I love them. When they try to hard doing brutal death metal I can't really get into it (the opening song on "the antichrist" for example).

BBB is excellent thrash and the first three MA albums(talking about both A's, and B) are excellent death metal. Quit comparing bands that don't have much to do with each other.

I disagree with this. Failure to appreciate the first two Morbid Angel albums should be punishable by law. Such senselessness has to be dealt with somehow.
