My suggestions:

Led Zeppelin - Communication Breakdown (I once heard a Vicious Rumors thrashy version and it was AWESOME!!)

Riot - Swords And Tequila

BNC.....I don't actually know much Aldo Nova stuff to be honest....comparable to who?

Well, I tried to think of a band to compare to but I have come up empty handed. The reason I think it would be a killer song for PQ to cover is bc it has a great deal of keys. Athallus suggested the same song. ATHALLUS, Who would you compare them to?

Hmmmmmmm......
The closest band I can come to would be Jefferson Starship from the early 80's, but that still isn't accurate. As far as genre goes, I'd call it Heavy Radio Classic Rock I suppose. Symphon, maybe you could go to a sight about Aldo Nova and check him out.
And "Fantasy" is an awesome song of it's time. VERY worthy of a Metal update.:)

Here you can go and maybe hear the song Fantasy..

Fantasy Lyrics

Summer breeze makes you feel alright
Neon lights shinning brightly make your brain ignite
See the girls with the dresses so tight
Give you love if the price is right
Black or White
In the streets there's no wrong and no right
so forget all that you see
It's not reality
It's just a fantasy
Can't you see
What this crazy life is doing to me
Life is just a fantasy
Can you live this fantasy life
Outasite
Buy you kicks from the man in the white
Feels alright
Powder pleasure in your nose tonight
See the men paint their faces and cry
Like some girl it makes you wonder why
City life sure is cool
But it cuts like a knife
It's your life

RudiPell...Welcome to the PQ forum BTW

I have to agree that the new Mob Rules album rocks....I think we had a little discussion about it in another thread. Have to say I think it is their strongest to date..which is saying something 'coz the others are excellent too. Hollowed Be Thy Name is an awesome track.

What's your fave Axel Rudi Pell album then? The one I listen to most at the moment is The Masquerade Ball. :)

What do you guys think about Supertramp, The Sweet, T-Rex?Something out of that time in a more modern style?!

And by the way.. if a Axel Rudi Pell song become coverd it should be 'Silent Angel'. Its a very beauty ballad, but I think it could become more interesting if you put a bit more power in it.

And if you wanna cover a 'normal' metal act I would prefere 'Dangerous Tonight' of Alice Cooper

Annyway.. I think you guys will make a good choice anyway ;)

Kiss Of Dragon
