They might not sound like any other band but that does not make them better in my eyes, good songs are the most important thing and there are many bands with better songs than Benighted, love their bass sound though

The thing with inhaled vocals... as in most bands with use them... think of them as an instrument... part of the music itself, not so much the singer of the band... maybe more like a beast... a wild animal at the mic.

special doesn't mean useful, however, they make special and great music
you just said they have good songs their riffs own 95% of all other death metal bands pretty much, like new cannibal corpse for example. bass sound is indeed teh shit

Hopefully the new Immolation is a step forward from 'Shadows In the Light'...I don't play that one too much...'Harnessing Ruin' was bad ass though. Can't wait to see them on tour...too bad it's with shit bands.
