I notice Mikael's vocals are considerably higher pitched live than in recent Bloodbath albums. He's got a production style nailed or something.

Death Metal without a solid riff base is very meh though
i agree, but groove is awesome as well, but i rather groove with good riffs (nile - lashed to the slave stick for example) than groove with no riffs (nicolas factory)

Has nothing to with kvltness. I just don't see why everyone goes for Death Metal that doesn't even sound like Death Metal in essence.
