I agree they have unique riffs, but there has never been anything in there that grabbed me, maybe i didnt give them enough time to grow.
But I guess its the same way Stefan thinks decapitated or meshuggah is generic.

i think generic may be a bad choice of words then, because that suggests a band is a run of the mill kind of band, which meshuggah certainly isn't (you can instantly recognize that it's meshuggah specifically, not some copy cat band, no matter if you like them or not)

Fucking awesome. I loved Harnessing Ruin and Majesty of Decay was pretty good too. I'm also glad they kept the Majesty and Decay quality production, it's icing on the cake.
