Did you like the Opeth bonus tracks from Blackwater Park

They're genius though. Mikael's singing on them is beautiful (as always), and they retain that strange haunting feel you get from Opeth's other acoustic works. Fantastic stuff!
 
Those two bonus tracks i think is the direction Opeth is going for its next album, soft and experimental, both those songs used a capo for a guitar, which Mikael hasnt done before.
 
A capo is like a permanent finger on the guitar, like in pattens II he uses a capo at the first fret, so instead of the guitar being a standard tune its basically tuned up a step. In still day it is capped at the 3rd fret

I don't understand guitar unfortunately, but I'm gonna go play those 2 tracks with what you said in mind...so I can HEAR what you mean. My ears understand, even if my brain is a bit slower. :lol: :lol:
