Fucking brutal, amazing album. Percussion was maniacal. Shame that Jon Nodtveidt turned out to be an actual maniac and neo-nazi. That band should have challenged Emperor for the best black metal band of the 1990s. Goes to show how racism and religion inflicts mental retardation on people.

Yeah, that's the name of the drum player.
But the kick, toms and snare on that album are not from a real kit.
Kick is probably an alesis d4 module, but I can't identify that snare.
 
I just got Storm of the Lights Bane. Just listened to it once through. It also has the WDAL ep at the end. "WDAL" is a great song, what are everyones favorites on the cd if you had to rank them?

Phew, erm. Probably 'Thorns of Crimson Death'. And I love the cover of 'Elisabeth Bathory'.

As for The Somberlain? 'Black Horizons'. Why? Dan's scream :lol:
