Do you think the addition of Roope screwed up the chemistry of the band?

I talk shit about alexander all the time, but he did have a huge purpose in cobhc,He was the quiet backbone to the band,he made sure that every rhythm section and backing riff sounded great. Now everyone knows roope is the better guitarist, but his role in bodom is far from what hes used to,Roope isn't fit to play rhythm guitar.I think adding roope to the band has something to do with the overall quality of AYDY.On the next album Roope and Alexi sould play both rhythm and lead guitars,it would be alot better, because Roope is too good just to hold pace.

On a different note,Why isn't there any quotes on AYDY? i know its not a big deal, but i thought it was a cool thing too do.

Alexi writes the music, so no, it's not Roope's fault.

"Roope isn't fit to play rhythm guitar" = wtf, don't be dumb.

If you want solos from both guitarists, go listen to Sinergy.

who cares ?? I'm sure Roope has nothing to do with AYDY since the band had already changed a bit with HCDR... and anyway, they seem to get along with him fine...

I have nothing against Alexander or Roope so I really, really, fucking, don't care...

anyone else ?

I think his point is that Roope's talents should be put to better use?

If that's the way Roope feels I'm sure he'd say or do something about it.
If he wanted a solo here and there in a song I'd bet Alexi would give it to him.
But as it stands, he seems content being on stage, doing what he does, and drinkin his ass off.

Hell, if I were him, I wouldn't mess with what worked - ya know?

Roope having 5 solos on the next album isn't going to change it's sound, if it sounds like AYDY, it's Alexi's doing, unless of course Roope starts helping with the writing.

Idk dude roope has a great combination of technically composed skill meets shred finese

Of course, I'm not saying he's bad at all, but the way Alexi phrases and pick his notes and shit just appeals to me more.

Kinda agree with you there, he actually spoke about this when some guy asked how he got his distinct sound. He uses the dunlop jazz 3 as people know, and it just sounds "alexi". But nevertheless, i think roope is better, technically speaking. When alexi was showing some simple 3 string sweeparpeggio, to explain how you learned sweeping, roope just jumped in and did some crazy ass thing. It was funny as hell but still impressing!

Alexi's guitaring is great of course. And i think Roope did ok on AYDY. On the next album, i'm sure both Alexi and Roope will do more solos together. Roope did help with some of the songs. I forgot which one it was though...bastards of bodom?
