considering about my nick, it is probably funny if i talk about this.

have your drinking ever come to way, that it is just what you do on every weekend youknow? tonight we were going to drink, but everyone were just tired and bored. same old faces, same old bars, same shit everyweekend. Someone ever feel the same?

Yep it has happened sometimes, but it's just a matter of changing routines. Don't do always the same, try and change in whatever way you think. Of course there'll always be boring days, but not all have to be boring and all the same

We do drink every weekend here, someties twice, but we mix it up, and go to different places. And even if we go to the same places, we meet different people, so it works out :D

This thread isn't really about drinking then is it? It's just about getting bored of your social situation.

The other day, me and a friend went to this bar, looking for some draught. See, a pint of draught beer costs about R$ 3.50, which's currently close to US$ 1.50 (don't take it too much to heart though, middle of an international crisis = dollar's expensive. BUT we can buy much more with that money since the crisis didn't reach us). We go and drink about 8 pints, and order some snacks (R$ 12.00 = US$ 5.17). Well, 8 pints + snacks + service = R$ 44.00 = US$ 18.95. Yet we only get charged R$ 14.50 = US$ 6.24). Yay for waitresses who suck at math!

So maybe you're the right persons to explain to me how happened that one night I went out with 20€, drank what I could and even more and came back home with 25€. Yes, I haven't swapped the amounts of money, i came home with more money than what I had when I took off

btw, does the jobbers in bar recognize you? At whiskybar on saturday i came in, didn't say nothing and the bartender(right word?) said "Lonkero?". i was like wtf. also same thing happened in rokkibaari. i probably visit too often in these places.

Was it hard vikk?

not really hard, i was't alcoholic or anything, but it kinda sucked =/ i stoped to save some money, and eventually i lost touch with the alcoholic friends

they do that i belive.

You don't remember it, but Casino.

That'd imply some 70 km travel walking to the nearest place that has one, cos my town hasnt' one , but who knows?

Well, there are like 2 or 3 bars in my town where the bartenders and owners recognise/know me, and I must say that it's really handy. Always find place, I can order as soon as I get there instead of waiting and trying to call on them and I get loads of ''special offers'' towards the end of the night when they're drunk, plus some ocassional free shots if the bar is not too crowded or it's been a boring day for them and want to have a couple of shots but not seem alcoholics drinking alone  But then again it's quite a small town, dunno what'd happen in a big one.
