dying in the opeth forums

i'm certainly a flaming homosexual myself, and i actually think i can outgay any of you any day of the week - considering that one of my favorite bands are the pet shop boys and that i have a gigantic man-crush on hugh laurie - yet what this extravagant thread lacks are a few selected morons from some other board telling us we're a bunch of old people with horrible taste in music and enormous metal objects stuck up our bodacious bloated bottoms (which would also fit the gay theme).

@dark jester: bring it on, show me what you've got!

@marduk: hugh laurie recently won the golden globe for his performance in house (see signature), and i discovered feelings i thought i would never experience. :p as for the pet shop boys, i'll let them defend their gayness themselves: http://www.petshopboys.co.uk/lyrics/lyricsBody.asp?RecordID=168
i mean, we're talking people who write in a song
"To look so loud
may be considered tacky
Collectors wear black clothes
by Issey Miyake"

  Oh pet shop boy, youre right, thats uber gay. And to Hugh, good for him, I really doubt theres a better (and gayer that is) actor than him. I think we both should write him a nice love letter and seal it with a kiss. :p

@larocque: try a little more often to make up your mind before you post: i see dozens of deleted posts from you at every session, and the responses are incongruous (and also gay) to those who didn't have a chance to read your original message.

Aye!! don't call Hugh Laurie gay! he's cool ^^
or... has "gay" turned into a compliment on this board? then it's ok :p

Um, right.
Why do all the Opeth people coming here feeling like they need to create,
yet another, thread about it and how moronic the Opeth fans behave.
We all know this.

Oh and finally, fuck Opeth.

Hey rahv, now my posts have acquired an even nicer shade of gayishnessity! Did you delete it, or did LaRocoque do it? :)

he did, as is often the case. which is what i was ranting about. :p deleting a message right away is one thing - after all, everyone of us is a completely different person every ten seconds - but when there are already replies it might be irritating. besides, it's not as if he ever posts anything that would warrant deletion. i honestly almost never delete the post of a regular, unless it's an obvious mistake or it makes fun of pineapples.

Aaaaah, long time no see, Mr Horsesalami. Enriching post, as usual! ;)

I have standards to look after. The forums needs to have at least 2.4 ranting
old timers who don't bother giving any content to the forums other than rants.

Oh and I just realized that was an insult, so fuck you too :loco:

And, btw., how do you acquire such superpowers as deleting your own posts? Is there that spandex thing involved or do you have to be like ultramegagay?

both. which is why everybody on this forum can. it's a possibility granted to you by the awesome powers of the "edit" button.

Oh, wow, I AM stupid. I thought you only could CHANGE whats been written and not delete it completely. Well, you learn everyday. Thanks.

you're welcome. actually, you're not deleting it completely: a mod can still see it (and decide to re-enstate it, or to remove it for good). that's right, for all these years niklas and i have been treated to all of the drunken "now feeling" messages one rushes to take back two seconds after pushing the send button. :)
