dying in the opeth forums

Yeah, I like Opeth, but I can understand why rammpeth has said what he's said. To be frank, I only post on UM in this forum or very occasionally in the Novembre (rule!) forum. I choose to participate and post in another unofficial Opeth forum which is less busy but is much more relaxed. The admins and the regulars are all cool so I quite like that board. Not as, uh, genial as this one, but still cool. Everyone has their difference of opinion and its b***dy well respected!
 
You know, Teddeh^, bloody isn't that vulgar...And would you happen to have the link to that Opeth forum? I'm interested.
 
well yeah, everybody has different takes on music.problem is most people there dont even care about the music itself.same problem tool has.

yeah thats right with the tool-thing. because of that and the stupid attitude of MJK I sold all my Tool cds last year(even the salival box :Spin: )

Hmmm in fact I should do my bit for it and put a banner in my sig...

As to the stars... I was feeling extra polite for some reason :s

Edit: there are some... er... slightly dodgy ads at the bottom but I just ognore them. Some of them are really amusing though
 
You know it took you quite a while to defend your loved one, I expected to read something from you much earlier. Yeah I know that he was a regular once, I dont need your petty advice for that. Its just that all thats left of him is an ass with an average of 99.9 % of post uselessness. ;)

For the record, even God thinks Opeth sucks decomposing elephant testicles. Opeth is good for putting you to sleep, not much else ;).

all of the above makes me wish i was "particularly blind", even if that meant i'd receive advice about the many marvels of salamurhaaja.

and yeah, just stop. i'm not as nice as nick so i might actually send you at least a smallpox infection if you don't.
 
There have been many important points made in this thread, and I agree with most of them, particulary that elephants should indeed be kept out of this.

But alas, solefald, you are gravely mistaken, Tool rules, end of discussion.
 
Man, I remember back in the day when everyone anathematized you for the least attempt to trash Opeth. I used to do that all the time at the Opeth forum, some 5 years ago. Ah, the old days...

Which were the gayest days, anyway. Good to see people finally getting over the Opeth hype. What took you so long?
 
actually i hope the hype ends, that way when someone actually likes opeth he wont be associated with a fanboy when he says he likes it lol.
