Still great but album of the year is Ashes Against The Grain for fucking sure.
also, ISA sucked totally.

I have never heard them so I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty certain that won't happen.Ellestin said:Which supremacy shall yet be severely shaken by new Colour Haze, rest assured.
Henrik Main said:A brief summary of Enslaved's discography:
Yggdrasill = for completists only
Hordanes Land = good, better than the Emperor side
Vikingligr Veldi = keeps getting better but too much jollyfolk
Frost = best raw-era Enslaved album by FAR
Eld = not as good as "Frost" by FAR (a couple tracks among their best though)
Blodhemn = good but not really essential
Mardraum = Solid stuff, but their older stuff is slightly better
Monumension = Weird and proggy, but it still kicks ass, hey, it's their best album so what do you expect?
Below The Lights = a step down from "Monumension" but retains the dark quality and the metal songwriting
Isa = crap
RUUN = more crap

more than five, rest assured.MFJ said:Riiiiiiiight... so how many times have you listened to it fully and actually tried to understand it? It took me about five times before I even started to like it, now it's basically sharing the #1 spot with a few others for my favorite album.

Conspicuously Absent said:apparently I get to see them live, along with Vreid and Zyklon in september
Conspicuously Absent said:so I just listened to Vreid (d/led Kraft) for the first time, this is some good shit
