Yes, I've also lived here my entire life. I didn't like it for a long time because I didn't like the people (especially in my town, like you) but then I realized that no matter where you go, at least in America, the people are basically the same. It's give and take basically.
Now I just appreciate Connecticut for its history and for it's scenery. It's really beautiful where I live. I'm not one of those people who always need to go out partying and stuff, so I'm happy just hanging out with my friends and going on hikes, etc.
Where are you moving to in August? I think when I'm done with school and have enough money, I'll be moving elsewhere as well. I want to see more of Europe--- and decide whether I want to live there or not.

I'm moving to Vermont in August for college, then I will probably pursue a masters degree at the University of Amsterdam and live in Holland for a long time.
