"As previously reported, OPETHs exclusive show at London's Shepherd Bush Empire on September 25th, is to be filmed for DVD release.
Billed as An Evening with Opeth, this special show has been arranged specifically to be filmed for Opeth's first ever official DVD release. For this one and only time, Opeth fans will have the opportunity to see the band perform their massive experimental mellow album Damnation in its entirety. This 2 hour extravaganza will also feature a set of songs taken from their Deliverance and Blackwater Park albums.
The full set list for the event is as follows:
Damnation' set (mostly acoustic) - Intro, Windowpane, In My Time Of Need, Death Whispered A Lullaby, Closure, Hope Leaves, To Rid The Disease, Ending Credits, Weakness, Harvest,
Deliverance/Blackwater Park set (fully live) - The Leper Affinity Master Apprentices, Deliverance, The Drapery Falls, A Fair Judgement,
Due for release in November, the DVD is planned as a 2 disc set, and will feature the full live show, as well as documentary footage of the making of Deliverance and Damnation, and exclusive interviews with the band.
