Fall US tour 2008

Dude, what the fuck part of Florida are you in?! Zephyr Hills? lol

The Florida I'm used to is the one with beaches loaded with hot, tanned women basically year 'round, where you can wear shorts and enjoy being outdoors and on the water in December, where there's an endless list of things to do and shows to check out.

I'll tell you one thing I definitely DO know... while you're freezing your pasty butts off for half the year in Stockholm, I'm waterskiing, fishing, golfing, layin' around on the beach in Daytona takin' in all the nubile, fine local fauna!

Screw living anywhere that sees that much snow, I lived in Iowa for two years when I was a kid, and let me tell ya, for me... Hell is being landlocked in the damned snow!
Like I said, I was born and raised here. I lived outside of Zephyrhills in Wesley Chapel, when I was married. I'm back in Tampa, I do go to a lot of Hockey games, a few Football games(pro, and College) As for the outdoors, most of my jobs involved the outdoors. Don't get me wrong, I can take the heat better than anyone, being from here, but I just don't care for beaches.I've been to the beaches many, many times, just not my thing. I lived in Missouri and Minnesota for awhile, and loved the cold weather. I dated a bit the short time I was in Miami, but salsa and beaches were tiresome.(No, I don't dance, but the girlfriends did!:ill:)My current girlfriend has a condo she's trying to sell down there. She's lived in Florida (born in Cuba)all but her first 7 years. She's all for living up North somewhere. The call and attraction of the far north is something I can't explain. The things you like are opposite of what I like....at least we can agree on one thing Swedish, eh?

In Florida, they can do the "Retirement Tour". Opeth for seniors!!:headbang:

FUCK GERITAL!!

Now if we could just get all these decrepit old fucks from Maine to die in their own state...

I will go the rest of my life without going to Florida. All I ever see is sweaty people, hurricanes, and lots of gun crimes. BTW, has anybody else downloaded Firefox3? A stupid MSN Explorer box keeps coming up...like Microsoft got pissed about the latest version of Firefox.

I lived in Michigan for a while and fucking hated it. Don't get me wrong, I love cold weather, but the people there are so fucking rude. Of course, it gets a lot colder here in Arkansas than in Florida, it usually snows at least once a year, so that's good enough for me!

That's where my bassist, and drummer are from. They (brothers) grew up in the farming part of the state, so I can understand why they like it better here to a point. And most people from Michigan say "don't live around the Detroit area!"

Dude, come on up to Canada and we'll gladly avail you to our hockey-lovin bosom!

And all I ever saw in the year I spent in SoCal was brown air, ridiculous illegal immigrant numbers, daily car chases, plastic, fake-ass trendworshippers and... ironically, TONS of gun crimes and gang violence.

Ain't jingoism fun? :kickass:

The official sight's the best place to check, but last I saw, the SF show wasn't even listed.

May updated now...don't know.

Well.. yeah but it's a little 'trick' to sometimes be able to find tour dates on ticketmaster or venue websites before they're officially announced by bands.

By the way, tm now has a "Opeth : High On Fire : Baroness" listing. Wonder if that means High On Fire will be the opener for this tour :err:

Sorry, had to revive this one.

A couple more up here in the cold north for you to consider, Mike...

Portland Expo..................Portland, ME
Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom..........Hampton Beach, NH

I'll keep finding and listing them until you get up here!!!:heh:

I agree with the up north! Come to The Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont! You can do it on your way to Montreal!

As if the dates aren't already scheduled haha .

according to ticketmaster, the tour is Opeth - High On Fire - The Baroness. Sounds pretty fucking sweet if its for real.

If I remember correctly, doesn't Opeth visit Montreal on every North American tour ??

Which is awesome !!
