I won't kill traders just to be on the safe side, but I will steal everything that i see around them. My sneak skill is maxed out.

Lockpick is a great skill too, I found sneak to be useless as taking shit from people's pockets didn't really net much. Busting into their house or footlocker when no one is around and stealing all their shit, well that's another story.
