I've been hearing about them for a few months. havent listened.

They're actually really really slow. I was joking. But they're unbelievably quality, nonetheless.

Origin's music is actually played by humans, unlike The Berzerker, and they actually play much of their stuff even faster live. There's a good chance many of them are on speed much of the time.

The human drummer on the Berzerker's second album once held the record for most snare hits with one hand in a minute (or something like that, could have been fastest bass drumming), that'd have to put them up there, if only for the album with a real drummer.
Then again if you're that fast do you deserve the title of human?

i liked nasum's drummer, i mean he had to be a little fast, some of those songs are like 6 seconds long

Well, perhaps the English language isn't your thing. Bands are usually referred to as "they" or "them", not "he" or "him". Using "he" makes it appear as if you think Meshuggah is one person.

well there is only one drummer, and as i recall he does all the drummer, which i heard they use a machine on the new cd which i don't knwo is true or not, i didn't know this was english class haha

When someone mention fast bands usually people think of the drummer, unless you want to see/calculate what band metal plays single notes the fastest or how fast picking is on a guitar.

Listen to 2:00-2:20 on Amoeba from Origin's Echoes of Decimation. Fastest I've ever heard.

Although this thread isn't about the fastest drummer, I must admit that the drummer in "Fear Factory - Cyberwaste" is quite fast!

The Berzerker drummer is (I believe at the point of writing) officially the fastest drummer in the world drumming speed championships; I can only assume that his day job therefore features some fast-ass music.

I say can only assume because the plastic masks put me off actually listening to them, and their name flat-out sucks.

Don't bother with The Berzerker. The band has shitty production jobs,clicky sound, are horrible at blending metal & electronics. One of the worst i've heard EVER.
