Obituary - Cause of Death (some may disagree that this band is death..I've always referred to them as death metal..some I know feel it's thrash..whatever.)

Incantation - Onward to Golgotha

Immolation - All

Morbid Angel - Altars of Madness/Blessed Are the Sick/Covenant

Cannibal Corpse - Tomb of the Mutilated (duh)

and about anything by Malevolent Creation...your turn!!

I think I started listening to death metal in 8th grade, which is 6 years ago, I think, but I got tired of it after six months or something. If I should choose a record for favorite death metal album it would probably be Death's "Symbolic" or maybe Dark Tranquility's "The gallery".

I haven't explored too much death metal. So, I'll have to agree with Board and say Death's "Symbolic". I also really love Morbid Angel's "Domination" and "Covenant"...starting to really get into "Blessed Are the Sick" as well.
