The 40 Essential Death Metal albums

I agree, that's why the album was on my list. Leprosy does not define Death Metal...if anything, Tomb of the Mutilated or Effigy of the Forgotten does.
 
How is Devourment essential Death Metal ?. They're not even in essence a Death Metal band.
 
They're very important to slam death, which even if you're not a fan of it is kind of a big deal especially nowadays.

Woah, really? Mercenary over Realm of Chaos, For Victory, or The IVth Crusade?
 
^ It shows how great Bolt Thrower is. Ask 10 people what their favourite album is and you'll get a lot of different answers. I've always loved the IVth Crusade. Warmaster would come second. Their discography is awesome.
