Favorite Genre Of METAL

Black metal by far. I also enjoy death metal a lot, but I'm still getting into this genre.

this is tough, because most of my favorite bands don't fit into any of these categories or are a combination of many of them. i'm going with black metal though, because one can never get enough of it.

I voted classic metal for one reason - Iron Maiden.

Other than that, I would have gone with death metal.

I don't have time or money to check out every underground band.

If that isn't the most GAY, retarded, cheesy piece of heavy/horse/knight/superhero crap, then I don't know what is. Death to heavy/speed/power metal, bands like this one pollute the face of the planet and give metal a bad name.

Well, I don't take critisism seriously from one who don't seem to know that there's a big difference between heavy, speed, and power metal.

It was my entry too, 10 years ago (I'm 20 now), above all Iron Maiden are still one of my favorite bands although I'm more into Death and Black Metal nowadays.

That's cool! I only know Gorgoroth's newest album. As you can see, I'm a big Emperor fan when it comes to Black Metal. I also admire Darkthrone. These are my two favorite Black Metal bands
