Through the Looking Glass was the first song I heard from SX. The second song I heard was The Accolade. For months and months, I've always considered Through the Looking Glass their best work, but there was something just a tad off about it compared to the Accolade. Of course, this never occurred until after I got their Live album. Honestly, TtLG Live didn't sound quite as good as the studio version.

Besides that, it should be their best, and it definitely is by all means. However, my favorite is The Accolade. The song just fits me much better than TtLG and doesn't take an awfully long amount of time to get to the earth-moving chorus (Which both have, by the way). My vote goes to The Accolade.

IMO they're both really really great songs... The Accolade and the Accolade II go perfectly together! However, IMO Through the Looking Glass LIVE blows the studio version out of the water...Give or take a few things, I still believe the studio version has some ups the Live does not!

Its good to see that a song from Symphony X's most underated album take the lead in this little poll! Honestly... I didn't think anything from TiO would be in the lead

I don't agree. Through The Looking Glass is one of the most amazingly performed songs on the live album. I , personally, choose a lot of songs better than TTLG, however, on the live, it is superb...

BTW, what was my favourite... oh yeah The Accolade, same as you you :Spin:

I love the live version of Through The Looking Glass. It gives me the shivers.

I can't really decide on a favourite. I've been listening to The Edge of Forever a lot recently, but they're all just so good.

I'm going to have to agree with the others on this onel! I prefer the live version of TtLG ten times over. The performances are incredible! My fave on the Live disc, along with Divine. An added guitar solo, suped-up keyboard solo, vocal-type solos (Note holds that Allen does and the awesome vocal harmony), fun with the crowd and godly re-entry, plus Rullo on the drums. How can it not be better? :p
