Its a 4 hour mix. And im really not well worsed in this genre when it comes to mixing!, So the gtrs might not be the coolest but im trying to find out what amp sims I like. At the moment Im using a demo of Metal amp room from Softube and Eleven free....

I Did some reamps of this song through a 6505.
I am disappointed with my first experiment, it has too much mids and treble.
I will do some more reamps with the 6505 to see if I can get a darker sound while
still retaining all of those nice articulations.

I know what you meant the mids, it might not work as well as u want it for THIS mix but a tone like that coulda Deffo work elsewhere so I'd take note of those settings. Really Fflucking good effort bro

the main thing letting you down is the guitar tone dude, go check out some of lepou's free ampsims or some of nick crows free stuff too

Hi Carl, its a miced cab.
I do use a blend of 2 or more reamp takes but I never use the unprocessed preamp in the tone. Do you think the tone blend that I am using sounds bad or has some flaws ?

What cab/mic?

I don't know what is making it "bad". But I think a 6505 can sound better before starting to fix things with EQ. It mainly has to much highs and sounds a tad undergained aswell as very... "scratchy?".
