I was totally going to go to this, but then I realized I couldn't figure out the names of half the bands!




Sorry, I had to get in the obligatory crack on illegible death metal fonts! :heh:
 
I'm still chuckling over a band called "Sayyadina."
Will they all have blue-within-blue Fremen eyes?
Will they use the bile of a newborn Worm to produce a kwisatz haderach?
Will they travel without moving, and if so, can any other bands tag along and save money on touring? :lol:
 
"Below is a list of bands for each day of MDF 2009. There are several different scenarios on the table as far as stage setup goes, so we won't be announcing exact set times until sometime in March.

Individual day tickets will go on sale on Monday, January 19th.

You can expect doors to open around 3:30 pm on Friday and 12:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. These are only estimates, but not off by more than 30 minutes or so.

What the fuck is that even supposed to mean?

I've unfortunately never been to MDF, but I've heard nothing but great things about it. It's run well, the bands get good stage time, etc. You comparing it to Milwaukee Metalfest just makes you sound ignorant.
 
Man, that Saturday lineup is intense. Band after band that I really want to see. I may as well bring in some snickers bars because I don't think I'm going to leave the venue that entire evening.

I think this question was answered with the November To Dismember and Sun and Steel fests, both also run by Koshik. :)

And Maryland Deathfest is far far superior to Milwaukee Metalfest. I'm curious of what prompted the comparison. Unfamiliarity with the bands playing?
