Yup, I got yours as well. The mst I can/will say is that there are 7 entries total so far. Gotta go check my e-mail!

If I'm not happy with a solo I don't bother putting it together coherently - I just improv until I like what comes out and then hope I hit the record button already, I can't dream of actually redoing a solo and leaving anything in there because I'm never happy with what's come out. I'd love to know how to not throw things out the window upon hearing them, I never find myself able to 'release' something so much as throw it out on the series of tubes before I go insane doing it over and over again.

I ave the unfortunate ability to be able to hear what i want to play milliseconds before i play it :p

actually for some odd reason i always hear harmonies in my head. So what i do is i play the track once with no guitar in hand. Then i play what i heard in my head or as close to what i "think" it would be.

I usually find a happy medium between a worked out motif and improvinsational "shredding" for lack of a better term.
 
So, as of 1:45pm PST, I have now received 8 entries. Suffice it to say that those who said they sent in their entries, I have received them! Just waiting out the next 15 minutes, to see if any more come in, and then we'll post them sometime after 2pm PST today. Thanks to all who have participated! I think it's awesome we got 8 entries on this one! Good luck to all who have participated!:headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

I hope I didn't do something wrong. Some people submitted one MP3, with or without a back strack. I uploaded the ones without a back track, if contestants submitted 2 of 'em.

If this isn't what I was supposed to do, let me know, and I'll just add all the ones with a back track. o_O
 
entry two, gets my vote, so good. All these entries (except mine :lol:) make me want to practice. Good job guys. I really liked the phrasing in entry2,3,1 and 8. I will review each of them later.
