I wish I could've entered this, but I sliced my index finger with a steak knife last week and I can barely hold a pick.
Hopefully next one.

Steve, perhaps we could try holding out on revealing names until the voting is over? We'll know who it is but we won't have to worry about personality things.

OUCH! Hope you heal soon man! I can relate....I dropped 200 lbs. of solid weight on my left hand middle finger back in '91, had to have it stitched back up( I could see the insides of my finger after it happened; thought I would never be able to play again), and still managed to play with 3 fingers and a metal stent on my middle finger( that was funny, it looked like I was flipping everybody off when I was playing!
 ) A month later, I cut that same finger in practically the same place trying to slice tomatoes for a sandwich I was making for myself. That sucked, but in 2 months time, collectively, all healed up. Still have the scars, and some nerve loss, but that was 15 years ago.
Then there was the time I nearly broke the knuckle of my left hand little finger on a Testament tour in '03.....more on that some other time!
Anyway, get better soon Kmanick! :headbang:

Well Jeff, and everyone at this point, if you guys would feel better about doing it this way, please let me know. It sounds like it's swinging that direction. It may cause a delay in the postings. Some of you put your name on the entry...

Jesus, what were you handling that was 200 pounds dude?

Oh and I won't be entering either. My friends are unreliable and I'm a lameass for not owning an mbox or something

I don't mind it either way too. I tihnk it is not like we are going to win something big, it is just for our personal self, and for gaining trust and confidence in your own playing, and to improve yourself and getting constructive criticism. If some person i don't like posts a solo that i will like i will vote for that solo, not for the person, because just because he/she has the best solo doesn't make him/her a better person imho. That is my philosophy.
Steve, how much do you charge for a vote?:lol::lol::lol::lol: :p

Well, we're talking of doing it with numbers now....so let's just do it that way for this one. I agre with your viewpoints on confidence building, and constructive critique, etc. That's why I kind of wanted all entries to be known. But, we'll do it this way for now.
Hey now, no bribing a voter!

Actually, it was one of my old Carvin cabs with EV's in it!Each speaker weighs in at 30lbs each, plus another 30-35 for the cab itself! Not quite 200, but damn close!
Sorry to hear you won't be entering Frets. Next time!:headbang:

Not to worry, causeddevil, there'll be more; that's what the winner of this contest gets to do for the next one. And in the near future, I'll throw a few more tunes written over my career thus far, for y'all to shred over! But welcome over to the forum, and feel free to vote!
