Frightening Movies

i dunno...i'm not into movies that much but in the game f.e.a.r. there were rly some fukken scary parts ( like u get haunted be invisible soldiers hanging on the walls )

^ I prefer Resident Evil , eventhough Silent Hill is way more psycho and scaring.

I dunno , when i was very young (not older than 4) Ghostbusters 2 scared the shit outta me and I couldn't sleep in my room anymore because I saw Vigo comming out of every poster:lol:
and that movie which was on tv last saturday.. a child with long white hair keept saying ' pancake.. pancake' and started twisting around*lol*
tbh I have no idea when it comes to scary movies.

the only movie that freaked me out was The Ring. probably because of the huge old TV that I had in front of my bed at the time I watched it for the first time.

My favourite frightening movie of the last years was the japanese version of the grudge, especially because of the extreme use of eyes as a fucking haunting element. I just hated this little boy and his damn eyes.

Grudge 2 scared the shit out of me  I hate that damn voice they make..

But The Exorcism of Emily Rose kept me sleepless and frightened for nights.

House on Haunted Hill made me ill-at-ease, The Mothman Prophecies was great too. But my favorite is still Darkness.
Great movie that one! Really great...It was not those climax kinda horror where there was a head cut off there and here...it was cool and weird.

Yeah i know. Its mainly action though but its the stuff you dont see in the game that you react on
Silent Hill series > any other survival-horror.
Can't comment on that...Only played Resident evils.

Oh yeah...Resident Evil 1 Own3d! And the 4th one is great too...Last game i bought and last i will i guess but it was so worth the 25 euros i put into it!

When I was really young, the "Child's Play" movies freaked the shit out of me, I was so scared of killer dolls. Then as I got older, I used to WISH they were real, cause I was very obsessed with wrestling and I wanted something to kick the shit out of other than a pillow or my little brother  Chucky seemed ideal for that purpose.

When I was like 8 or 9, I stayed over at a friend's house, and we watched "Night of the Living Dead II", I think it was called, I can't find it anywhere but it was the one with Arsenio Hall and the Homer Simpson looking zombie who gets hacksawed into like 6 pieces and the dog that is nailed to a board but it's cut in half and still alive... whatever that movie really traumatized me as a child  I was so sure every time they cremated a dead person it was gonna make the clouds build up with some zombie disease, and raining down on the cemeteries and create an army of zombies, as per the film's plot.

But never really after I was 11 was I scared of any movies, really. Only movie that even made me cringe or jolt recently was Hostel, during the eye part. Not because it was that disgusting, just because the movie was pretty lame up until that point and I totally was not expecting it. Plus it was like 3am and I was tired as fucking watching it alone.

The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is a GENUINE horror film. Just the thought of psychopaths who are really out there is a frightening concept.

The "scary" movies now days are just filled with blood and gore, which seriously isn't scary. I wish some real scary movies would come out :(

I laughed at the first TCH movie, but I fucking laughed harder at the second

The only movie to ever truly scare the bejezus out of me was Pet Semetery because of the scenes with the mother's disease ridden sister.

 I LOVED that movie as a child, but that part always creeped me out too.

Evil Dead is all but scary. it's ridiculous. and that's what I love about it :D

I haven't seen the 2nd part yet...

But I remember watching "The Exorcist", a parody on the real Exorcist movie. The only difference was, that the effects were even worse and that it was only 20 mins long or sth.

... oh and it was a porn movie, so it only consisted of anal sex between the priest and the possessed girl.

off topic: I'm totally going to go see beowolf sometime this week. if its anything like 300 was (looks pretty similar animation/acting anyway) it should kick some serious ass.

@flyingv_guy: ROLF! i couldn't tell if they were guys or girls.
